Rationale
There will be three schools to be the pilot schools implementing this scheme. (Raimondi College (Primary Section) , St. Francis of Assisi's English Primary School and St. Joseph's Anglo-Chinese Primary School ) Among the schools, a key school, i.e. St. Francis of Assisi's English Primary School, will act as the coordinator.
The three schools all have the same rationale of gifted education. We believe "School is committed to an education programme that recognizes individual students differences. Embodied in this commitment is a responsibility to gifted and talented students and other students to help them maximize their high potential."
The ultimate aim of the scheme is to expand this idea to other schools so as to develop Cluster Schools Gifted Education Model in Hong Kong. After this scheme, the three schools will become the key schools. They will then lead other schools to form Cluster Schools in the district. Then more and more schools will join this scheme. Gifted education will then be popular among the schools in Hong Kong. More and More gifted students will get benefit.

Targets
This Project aims at about 300 gifted students of Primary 2 to Primary 6 in the three schools. Besides, 150 teachers from the three schools will be trained to implement the project. Therefore, the expected number of beneficiaries is 150 teachers and 300 gifted students (P.2-P.6) in the cluster schools. In addition, there will be an experience sharing conference and teaching workshops for all the teachers in other schools. 1000 teachers are expected to gain the experience of implementing gifted education when attending the sharing conference and teaching workshops.
